Whiskey Rebellion Parade volunteers needed
The WCRP is going to be in the Whiskey Rebellion parade on Saturday July 13th in downtown Washington. We hope you can join us in making this event as successful for the party as the last parade. Our staging area is on North Franklin Street, we are the 6th group back from West Chestnut. There will be easy access to parking since our staging area is right next to the IC church parking lot, click on the map below to enlarge the map. Please arrive by 9am. We will be using the new banner with the new logo again and there are still plenty of shirts that will be provided for free to those that participate. Please send an email to wcpagop@gmail.com if you plan on participating so we can get a count of participants. Thank you.

We would like to thank all of you that participated in the Canonsburg 4th of
July parade as part of the WCRP. Your active participation is what made the
event such a success for the party. It was nice to see the support of the people
in attendance that cheered us on as we walked the parade route.

The local TV Media tells stories rather than the truth…
I woke up Sunday to the local TV news talking about the “Governor raising taxes…” and while I was opening an eye I heard that the taxes would be raising by about 25 cents per gallon at the pump (they later explained that this might be over 5 years). They continued interviewing people and asking about these new taxes and how they (the interviewees) would be forced to choose between gas and food“…for their children”.
